The awesome people over at VideoLan.org have come out with a new version of VLC media player. As you’ve seen before, this is a pretty powerful piece of software. They made it even better and gave the player look a refresh.
It is the same VLC media player you have come to know and love. It still plays pretty much any type of video you can throw at it.

My favorite thing about the new version of VLC is that the volume control is much easier to adjust than it was in the past. Also, when you play a video it is now split into two separate panels instead of just one with your control buttons stuck to the top or bottom of the video.
