Mozilla released the second release candidate of Firefox 3 today. More than likely, this is the last release before the final version of Firefox 3 is released. I highly urge you to check out Firefox 3 RC 2. It is more secure, easier to use, more personal, and has improved performance. Somehow the developers at Mozilla were able to make it faster, more reliable, and use less processing power.
To upgrade your current testing release of Firefox 3, click on “Tools” and then the “Check for updates” option.
You should see that Firefox 3 RC 2 is available for download so click the “Download and Install now” button.
The install will prepare, now click the “Restart Firefox” button.
Firefox will restart and apply your update and viola, you have updated to Firefox 3 RC 2!
