If you have looked at any of the tutorials here, more than likely you have seen screenshots included in the article. And you may be asking yourself how I get all of my great screenshots.
This program is just a simple executable. Simply download the program and double click to run the application. Download here:
Download the free version of PrintKey2000
It will put a small icon in your system tray to let you know it is running.

Now to capture what is on your screen, hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard (usually labeled “PrtScn”). When you hit that key a screen will pop up and allow you to do multiple options with your screenshot.

You can print it directly from this screen. What I do is click the “Save” button and save it is as an image so I can post it to the web.
PRO TIP: If you want to capture a small screen and not all the other stuff on your desktop surrounding the screen, hold down ALT and then hit the Print Screen key.
