Much software is made available today in the ISO format. This format allows you to burn software to a CD and either boot your computer from the CD or install the software contained on the CD.
The problem is that most burning programs (Nero, Roxio, etc…) don’t come with an ISO burning utility. This is where ISO Recorder comes into play. It is a very light weight (and free utility) that allows ISO’s to be burned to CD’s. (I use this application a lot and it always works great for me). Download from here:

After you have downloaded and installed the software, download the ISO you want to burn. Double click on the ISO you downloaded and it will automatically open with ISOrecorder.
Insert a blank, writable CD and then click next and burn away.
NOTE: This program does not allow you to burn an ISO to a DVD!
